For anyone that already has HueForge, you should have received an email that your download file has been updated. The filament library has been updated to bring in the Polymaker filaments they characterized. If you have added a number of your own filaments, you should be careful with how you merge the two until I have merging in place (it will be in the next build). Here is a list of some of the changes:
This covers several requested new ease-of-use features and bug fixes
Filament Library will warn if it has been modified when exiting HueForge (known issue, Owned/Unowned changes do not trigger warnings)
Filament Library will warn when it is unable to save due to permissions.
More than the original 2 Filament types can be added in separate tabs.
Polymaker filament library is integrated
@IJSmalley89s filament library is actually integrated this time
Unexpected top color from 0 value sliders has been fixed
Added Actual Max Depth indication to help remove unexpectedly short meshes
Multiple changes to the Describe output to help ease of use and reduce confusion
Dynamic and Clipped meshes are 1 layer taller in total to match the standard Static Mesh
Lower end Intel GPUs, Spacesuit project should load without crashing and give a popup warning that Min Details was increased due to mesh size limits.
Fixed New Filaments button always resulting in a white filament even after you selected one
Fixed License Terms for Lifetime Professional to NOT expire Tangible printing rights after 1 year. Thanks to the one person who actually read the agreement.
I’m also investigating other payment options for Europeans that do not require credit cards and aren’t named PayPal.
I am working on getting Mac hardware to start working towards a working build on that platform. In the meantime, Intel Macs CAN use VMWare to get HueForge running. Parallels does not work because of their outdated GL support. (As far as I can tell, it WOULD work in Parallels even under an M1/M2 if they weren’t stuck at GL 3.3. VMWare just meets the required GLSL 4.3 threshold.
Thank you for your continued support and patience as I deal with both customer support and software updates.
When slicing it gets to 15% and stops and locks up Orca slicer. I have same experience on Bambu Studio too and same thing. Running Windows 11. Any ideas?
Can’t wait for any version of apple silicon support!
