What happened to Color Aware?

It's been about a month since any kind of real status update. I think one is due.

First, HueForge went to ERRF and had a great time! We had 5 people most of the weekend and we were talking non-stop pretty much the whole time. Not only did we have an amazing location, but the established names treated us like one of them.

If you stopped by during the show, thank you! And I'm sorry if we didn't get to talk to you as much as we all would have liked! Manning the both were myself, AJAX, Additive Atom, Ian Smalley, and my father and boy did the days wizz by.

Secondly, some family obligations (mostly the hard kind, some good) cropped up and I make no apology for attending to them first. In fact the community has been tremendously supportive and I really appreciate that!

But also… what started out as a quick bugfixes build for some relatively small bugs, has developed into a full blown QoL/UX/Bugfixe feature release. I wanted to get a test build into my testers hands this weekend but I didn't make it. That means we are looking at end of October most likely before a potential release.

A few items, in no particular order:

• Fixed non-manifold meshes

• Greatly speed up mesh modification (at a small cost during initial mesh creation)

• Slider sorting

• Enable/Disable sliders

• Bugfixes for Unicode paths

• saving filament sets on MacOS

• Proportional Filament set loading

• A LOT more brightness compensation modes

• A version of the single most frequent feature request…. If it doesn't get murdered in testing, which is a real risk.

I'm certain other bugfixes and updates are in here that I've forgotten. It's become quite the build. So much so that it might break old projects (at least their brightness compensation if it's not standard).

I have only a couple of things to complete before I can send it to testing. AND THEN… Back to color aware. Which I got the primary goal working, but I need much much much better UX controls if anyone is going to use it. So that is the next focus.
