Yay! Thank you for all your work to bring this to the unwashed masses... I did subscribe early hoping today would come and now I can play with what looks to be a very interesting and well thought out app.
I have no idea what the hell happened to the app. I bought it a couple days ago, used it to open one image from my photos app, now I cannot open any images that I download. This article is rather useless. Every attempt to use the app results in a request to grant the app access. I even went so far as to add the app to the Full Disk Access security but I still cannot open any images. Total crap. Why is everyone so happy about a program that doesn't work? I don't get it.
Because you used it on Sept 3rd. It seems like update emails did not go out to everyone like they were supposed to. I've raised an issue with the provider and I'm manually resending notifications
I've also noticed that the windows version opens with the last image and settings applied but the Mac version doesn't.
And perhaps more frustrating is the Mac version doesn't work as well...
* I have to run in negative mode else a negative image is produced.
* The same settings applied from Windows onto Mac produce very different results.
* The sliders on the Mac version are less responsive with the exact same settings as those set in Windows. I get the feeling the Mac version isn't generating the model in the same way; its like the TD is being ignored (I'm not 100% sure what the software is doing to be able to describe the issue better)
Is there a link to the discord so I post some screenshots?
I think I might have missed the defaults.JSON file in this version. If xcode/cmake didn't blow away my project every time I updated the cmake file it would be easier to keep track of
I upgraded from Personal to Limited Commercial license so I can sell what I print from HueForge. Is there a guide on how to follow the rules, regarding selling HueForge prints? I understand that this license is only for 3d print s that utilize HueForge - no selling of STL's or software. One part of the files I downloaded was a png file that is a HueForge Limited Commercial License and has ID# on it which is blank. First question: where do I find my ID#? Next: Do I add the ID# to this png and post it with my print when I want to sell said print?
If you dock the geometry dock with the slider dock as a tab, it should let you go narrower than the window. Or if you reduce your number of sliders. Though it will be hard to get much vertical space.
I downloaded the MAC OS version and saved a project to my Documents folder. There was no HueForge document folder to put it in, so I created one manually. According to what I used, there are 4 files associated with a HueForge project - image file, text file, stl file and hfp file - is this correct?
Good news! I want to get the Limited Commercial subscription/version, which is $30. However, I was thinking about trying it out first with the Personal subscription/version first to see if it works out ok for me on my MAC. If I do get the Personal version and decide I like it and want to upgrade to the Limited Commercial, can I do that by just paying the difference between the two (which is $18)? Please, let me know ASAP. Thanks and I'm REALLY looking forward to experimenting with your program! I look forward to your reply.
So I have the limited Commercial License. I wanted to upgrade , pay the difference for the Professional Edition. Is that possible? And if so how would I do that?

Yes I bought months ago, waiting on the Day of the Mac!
I'm so happy about this. Thank you for make a great tools for us!

Did you just update to MacOS 15 beta?
not sure why, but when I go to the store to order the new release the store says I already used my code so wants to charge me the full price.

Thanks for the Mac release!
btw: I clicked the 'describe' button and the app crashed.
I have not seen that before... Does it happen every time?
No, I've not been able to repeat it since

Yes, it's in your download email

have posted in the help section with two screenshots for comparison.
I'm having a hard time getting this thing to work, I'm using the correct email, but it wants me to pay $250 again.

Hurray! And thanks for adding the colors to the sliders.
Window layout bugs MacOS 14.0 Beta, M1
- There is no resize ability on window top and bottom
- The window very irritatingly always auto moves to top of desktop despite moving it!
- The window is not resized correctly for visible dock (under dock and no resize ability).
What is your screen resolution set to? I really can't support a resolution under 1440x932 with all the controls necessary.
There definitely are a few minimum sizes that could be tweaked however. This is an issue under Windows as well.
I have an M1 Mac Pro 16" with my display setting on "middle age eyes" :-)
1312 x 848
I appreciate the difficulty you have with laying out this many controls.
If you dock the geometry dock with the slider dock as a tab, it should let you go narrower than the window. Or if you reduce your number of sliders. Though it will be hard to get much vertical space.
- minimum window width is greater than my screen width; with controls 'off window'
- even with floating tool windows, min width does not get smaller
I am in testing to release a new version that greatly reduces the required minimum resolution.
Much appreciated.
Thank you for the Mac version ... looking forward to digging in an creating some killer prints.

Yes you use code PUUPGRADE to upgrade from Personal Use and get discounted the current cost of Personal. Though prices are going up in 7 days.
That's good. I understand the pricing is going up in about 6 days now. Thank you for the speedy reply.
So I have the limited Commercial License. I wanted to upgrade , pay the difference for the Professional Edition. Is that possible? And if so how would I do that?
LCUPGRADE is the coupon for that
Thanks!!
I'm chalking this up to me being an idiot, but I can't get the program running on my Mac. I keep getting 'prefix creation exited with error'
What version of MacOS are you running?
Ventura 13.4.1
Did you accidentally download the Windows version from the first email and not v0.6.3 from the second email with the HueForge Logo in it?
Not from my email, but yes, I was on the wrong link and downloading the 0.6.2 version. I knew it was a 'me' problem. Thank you
