I ended up getting laid out with something this weekend starting on Friday (fever over 100, ALL the mucus and pretty bad brain-fog) and wasn’t really able to think clearly until today (and debugging code while not thinking clearly is…well it’s hard okay). I’m doing a lot better, but I had been counting on the weekend to finish bugfixes before doing the various non-coding updates that need to be done this week before release. Things like filament library additions (Overture, Paramount 3D, IID Max updates), creating documentation for the Sea Shell Method of TD calibration and putting together the new example files.
It’s possible I can get things done before the weekend, but I think the week after Christmas is looking like a much more likely timeframe for the release.
I wish I had better news on this front, but I will say that testers have only found a few serious bugs and I do think I can squash them early this week.
Get well. Thanks for everything and Merry Christmas.
Hey buddy, your health is more important than a couple days of delay ... I just got over covid (AGAIN FFS ... 4x now ) so let your body get its shit together, then worry about getting the code's shit together
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
